3-star holiday cottage Passage du Gois

Edith welcomes you year-round, just a few kilometers from the Passage du Gois. Families, couples, birdwatchers, business travelers, horseback riders, and many others are welcome in this family-run gîte.

You will stay in a large, former farmhouse dating back to 1820, surrounded by tidal channels. The property is connected to the main road only by a winding path, giving you the feeling of being completely secluded.

Purchased by the current owners in 2017, the gîtes opened their doors a year later, in 2018. The authentic décor highlights exposed beams and stonework, as well as carefully selected antique pieces: the charm of the old blends perfectly with modern comforts.

Le charme commence sur le petit chemin qui zigzague entre les canaux des marais .. arrivé sur place j ai un Excellent accueil d'Edith qui me guide jusqu a ma maisonnette toute équipée .. grand écran tv et literie très confort . Tout est prévu pour le petit déjeuner voir +!encore . Chouette séjour en Vendée .

Book one of our cottages, designed to accommodate one to four people. Baby equipment can be added to each cottage free of charge.

We will be delighted to welcome you to the cottages from 3 pm. In case of late arrival or absence, a key box is available. Check-out is before 11 am.

Meet outside

Your accommodation, like our house, is situated in the heart of 1.5 hectares of land. A swing will entertain our youngest guests. Enjoy the outdoors for relaxation and walks. Please do not feed Anisse, our donkey, or Tess, our dog.

To explore the region, we lend classic bicycles upon request. You will also have the option of bringing your horse, which will stay in the meadow.

Prepare for your stay

Sheets, towels, and household linens are provided. Cleaning is included. We ask that you put away the dishes and tidy the kitchen area, empty the trash, and remove the bed linens.

Gîte L’Escale is accessible to people with reduced mobility, and medical equipment (hospital bed, patient lift, etc.) is available for rent.
